Home Updates: Week 4
Now THAT is what I call a successful weekend: barbeque, campfire and then ice cream sundaes. So much for the work—it will still be here next week and the week after and the week after that. Family, friends and fun are what are most important to us.

It’s been three weeks. WOW! Time flies when you are trying to get yourself organized and ready to go. Thomas and I are still alive and working towards our goal of turning our house into a home.

Another week has come and gone. We have now been owners of the house for 2 weeks. Our “Moving Day” is looming closer and our well thought-out plans are taking shape.

The Changing Over of the Keys
The official start of building a home takes place with the passing of the keys. This should be a formal ceremony complete with photo ops and formal announcement of intent from some important person. Lacking this, we made our own celebration before diving into reality next week.

The Adventure (almost) Begins
